POVERTY ERADICATION
One of the challenges of our time is youth unemployment and dwindling capacity to improve income especially among women in rural communities. Trios advances strategies by (1) Bridging the gap between research and the market place in agriculture and agro-processing. (2) Vocational skills development (3) Market access for small scale producers (4) Assistance to access short term loans to expand on-going activities.
Several forms of social maladjustments, risky behaviors, drug abuse and crime are given as excuses for failed coping mechanism. Trios is committed to partnering with stakeholders to provide training and support to help youths and women overcome these challenges
In addition to organizing capacity building and outreach programmes, members and kind spirited persons give materials such as clothes, shoes, school bags and so on that are given out to people in need.
